Tape House Records is always searching for underground artists pushing independent music forward. Our first featured artist is 1984x, an artist bringing raw DIY energy and honest songwriting to the independent music scene.

Blending alternative, indie, and underground influences, 1984x creates music that feels personal and atmospheric while still carrying a strong emotional punch. The project captures the spirit of independent music where creativity comes first and the rules don’t matter.

One track that really stood out to us is “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

The track showcases the kind of sound that makes the underground scene exciting — unique, expressive, and unapologetically independent.

This label is based in Indiana and focused on punk, ska, folk-punk, indie, hip-hop, and other sounds that don’t always get the spotlight they deserve. The goal of Tape House Records is to promote independent artists, help people discover new music, and build a community around the DIY scene.
